School Council

The purpose of this page is to post items that are likely of interest to parents. Of course, suggestions for content can be forwarded to Info@CalgaryArtsAcademy.com.

All parents are welcome to attend any of the scheduled School Council meetings.

Calgary Arts Academy�s Glenmeadows and Knob Hill Campuses operate their School Council and School Council Society collectively. In doing so, they have a Chairperson / President (or Vice-President) from each campus and collaborate on all Council and Society business together. Two Treasurer positions support the collection and management of funds generated at each campus, event or casino. Calgary Arts Academy School Council Society will be approved to commence in the fall 2009, and will be responsible for all future Casino funds.

Both the Chairperson/President and Treasurer positions are 2 year terms with the 2 positions being filled on alternate years to provide for continuity. All other positions have a 1 year term. Calgary Arts Academy School Council & Society positions for 2009-2010 are as follows:
